Horse-friendly riding starts with allowing the horses to live in a way that fulfills their basic needs: freedom, friends and forage. Next comes groundwork, which helps to establish trust and respect. Only when the basis is solid, we proceed to riding with soft feel. Riding out in nature at a walk helps our guests to relax and deepen their understanding.

Courses include ground work, riding lessons and trail riding, depending on the interest and needs of the groups, so that a typical week might look like this:
Groundwork is a very important part of our courses, while trail rides into the surrounding nature are kept at a walk to develop our feel and relaxation with the horse and deepen the understanding of the learned concepts. There is always time for more theory and discussion around the work with the horses.
The weekend is reserved for arrival and departure and we can of course help you with the logistics of travelling to and from the ranch, as well as with planning a stop over in Lisbon or another city.
